New Phineas and Ferb Meet & Greet Opens

This week I had the pleasant surprise of being in the Studios the day Phineas and Ferb's new meet & greet opened. Located in between Mama Melrose's and MuppetVision 3D, you'll find our favorite stepbrothers (and one elusive platypus) hanging out on the set of their backyard under their favorite tree.

The story for me, however, was not the meet & greet, but the queue, and what was going on while you were waiting. Months ago, Disney held auditions for directors to helm a new project- Phineas and Ferb: "We're Making a Movie" The Movie. I was under the assumption this would be some sort of show with the director and the characters, and THEN they would meet with guests. It is kind of a show, but not on the scale I imagine. Basically the director comes out and interacts with guests, casting them to recreate some of the brothers greatest moments and musical numbers. This all happens as you move through the queue, sort of as a distraction from waiting in line. It's a very "Next Gen", queueless queue distraction type of thing DIsney has been famous for doing this past year, and while it wasn't what I was expecting, it's better than waiting in a long line with no entertainment, and I look forward to what Disney does with this type of queueing in the future
