George Lucas took a visit to Disneyland to check out the progress of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. The attraction is being developed in tandem in Disneyland as well as at Disney's Hollywood Studios. What's of interest more than anything is that there's photo showing what appears to be the cockpit of the Starspeeder 1000, piloted by none other than C-3PO.
According to the posting on the official Disney blog, Lucas joined producer Rick McCallum to "take a few test rides" on the attraction with the Walt Disney Imagineering team. This seems to indicate the simulators are changed over and the ride part of the attraction is starting to take form.
