Rock 'n Roller Coaster is one of the most exhilarating rides in Walt Disney World. For coaster buffs, Rock 'n Roller Coaster will make Space Mountain and other coasters on Disney World property seem like kiddy rides. Wait times at the Rock 'n Roller Coaster can get long, especially during the busier times of the year. Due to the large crowds, try to experience Rock 'n Roller Coaster just as the park opens or in the hour before it closes.
The preshow of the ride features a large film that makes it seem like Aerosmith is in the recording studio with you. It's a convincing display and one of the better preshows you will experience in Walt Disney World.
The actual ride is unbelievable. Again, not to wreck too much of the ride, you're flipped, rolled and shot through a great dark track with a select Aeromsith hit song to guide you. My personal favorite is Sweet Emotion and Dude, looks like a Lady and it seems I can never get it to play when I'm there. Rock 'n Roller Coaster is one of the few rides where sitting in the front car is the best. If you don't believe me, sit wherever they place you the first time you ride, then ask to sit in the front row the second time. You'll be thanking me later that you read this.
Being the super headliner ride it is, if you plan on riding Rock 'n Roller Coaster anytime during the day, get a FASTPASS or suffer in the lines. In case you haven't noticed, this is one of the best rides in all of Walt Disney World and should not be missed unless you have a deep fear of roller coasters and have no intentions of ever overcoming that fear. Despite the coaster going upside down, it's a remarkably smooth ride and many guests who have never ridden a roller coaster before have noted that the attraction was enjoyable. Simply put, Rock 'n Roller Coaster is one of the top-tier attractions at Walt Disney World and will quickly become a favorite of yours if you give it a try.
